My inspiration comes from daily things in my life, people around me and the love I have for art. I used to visit museums and galleries with my teacher, Fran, studying the timeless works of artists like Rembrandt, Michelangelo and Picasso. Together, we explored the mind of the artist discovering not just how a painting was made, but why it was created. Those early experiences shape my art today. Now, I find myself painting for many reasons to express emotions, growth, and the unseen energy that connects us all to our creator.

I rely on my natural tool's hands and keen sight. No projectors, computers, rulers or protractors because art is not graphics in school. Art is artistic and natural. You either have it or you don't.

Superstar is an intimate painting that blends imagination, music, and cinematic legend. The scene begins quietly: Lupe, the artist, seated in a park reflective, present, and grounded. But just as calm settles in, Alfred Hitchcock unexpectedly takes the stage, stepping into the moment as a symbolic figure drawn from The Birds, blurring the line between reality and creative vision.
This piece plays with scale, presence, and surprise, transforming a simple park setting into a surreal encounter between artist and icon. Hitchcock appears not as interruption, but as a reminder of influence how art, film, and music collide to shape legacy. Motivated by Lupe’s music, Superstar was created as a timeless tribute something lasting, something we can have forever. The work reflects the idea of a superstar existing within ordinary spaces, where greatness quietly sits among us.
