A tribute to the eternal timeless beauty. As a child her death was a mystery to me. They said very little on tv and hush hush. The candle symbolizes the light she carried within her glamor surrounded by shadows that few people knew. Through my mix media painting, I wanted to capture a more iconic painting of her I wanted to capture the woman behind the legend, her dreams, emotions, and fragility so her beauty shines forever.
